Title 1
What is Title I?
Title I is a federal program that provides funding to schools to help ensure all students have access to a high-quality education. The goal of Title I is to support schools in meeting the needs of students who may face challenges that impact their learning, such as economic disadvantages.
At West Craven Middle School, Title I funds are used to provide additional instructional resources, support services, and family engagement opportunities to help every student succeed. This includes extra help in math and reading, professional development for teachers, and activities that involve families in their children’s education.
We are committed to working together with families and the community to create an environment where all students can thrive.
